About

Sandrine Orabona

writer / director / producer

Director and producer with a love for telling real, resonant stories—across film, TV, and branded content. I thrive on projects that combine creative ambition with hands-on technical execution, and I’ve been honored with awards including an Emmy and a Sundance Brand Storytelling Award.

Over the course of my career, I’ve directed and produced work across sports, fashion, music, and stories with cultural impact—bringing depth, humanity, and relevance to each subject. I’ve collaborated with artists like Rihanna, SZA, and Ne-Yo, and served as field director and shooter on This Is It, the film documenting Michael Jackson’s final weeks preparing for his tour.

I’ve worked with companies like SpringHill (LeBron James), Film 45 (Peter Berg), the Herzog Company, and Valentino. On the brand side, I’ve directed campaigns for Savage x Fenty, Allstate, and Miller Lite—always aiming to create work that connects, feels honest, and delivers. My projects have premiered at SXSW and Sundance, and aired on CNN, FOX Sports, ROKU, PBS, and more.

Whether I’m shooting solo in a vérité style or leading a full crew, I bring a grounded, adaptable approach to every production. I’m equally at home in intimate, high-profile settings or managing complex, multi-camera shoots. I’m also deeply involved in post—shaping narrative, guiding edit teams, and crafting tone and rhythm through music and pacing.

I speak English and French fluently, am proficient in Spanish, and feel at home working across cultures and locations. I love bringing great stories to life—from start to finish.
